The Pennsylvania AHEC system began in 1994 and encompasses 7 regional AHEC centers statewide. The PA AHEC System is an integrated system that coordinates a statewide medical education and training network dedicated to improving the distribution and quality of Pennsylvania’s health professions workforce. In the past few years, Delaware has been added to the PA-DE AHEC system.
